1997 The capital costs used in the 1994 study were updated by Alan Willens and Julian Riley and contract documents prepared for the detailed design and the provision of project management for the supervision of construction.
Grain Study1995 Peter Brown, a grain industry specialist established the consistency of product quality, its suitability for export and its physical location. The infrastructure and logistics for export were assessed and samples collected for analysis.
Feasibility Study for the Manufacture of Irrigation Equipment1994 The Government wished to develop a factory to produce drip and sprinkler irrigation equipment. The study covered the following disciplines - economist, agronomist, hydrologist, architect/civil engineers (Julian Riley) plus irrigation, manufacturing, soils and factory management specialists. Detailed evaluation of government services and private sector activities in the sector were made to establish the technical and economic viability of the project.
Multi Product Grain Storage Facility 1991-92 The preliminary design prepared by Bernard Giles and Julian Riley included the provision of civil and structural drawings, approximate qualities of construction materials, specification and layout of mechanical handling equipment and a check list to assess the capabilities of local contractors.
